Privacy Policy
Your personal information is used only to process, deliver and support your order, and is protected under UK data protection law. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, so we never see your full card details, and we never sell, rent or trade your information. You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time.
Who we are and what we collect
TM Commerce Limited (“TM Commerce”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to handling your personal information fairly, lawfully and transparently. We are the controller responsible for your information: a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17400310), with our registered office at Office 907 N C, 182–184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA. You can contact us about privacy at info@tmcommerce.co.uk or on WhatsApp at +44 7882 508090.
When you order, we collect your name, phone number, delivery address, the products you order and, if you choose to give it, your email address. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe: we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, but never see or store your full card details. We also keep the reviews you submit (name, rating, comments, optional photo, platform and optional order number), the messages you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email, and — only where you have given consent — basic analytics about how our website is used.
How we use and share your information
We use your information to process, deliver and support your order, including delivery and returns; to contact you about your order; and to send order confirmation and delivery emails (performance of a contract). We create a TM Commerce customer account with the email used for your order, or through “Continue with Google”, so you can track orders and check out faster; marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and you can ask us to close your account at any time. We publish approved reviews with a “Verified purchase” badge when the signed-in customer has verified their email ownership, the order belongs to that account, and the reviewed product is on that order (legitimate interests), keep records required for accounting and tax (legal obligation), and use analytics to improve our website (consent). We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
We share information only where necessary, with trusted providers who process it on our behalf: our hosting provider (IONOS), our payment provider (Stripe), our email provider, and delivery partners, who receive only the details needed to deliver your order. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. Our website uses your browser’s local storage to remember your basket, wishlist and preferences, which the shop needs to work; analytics tools such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel run only if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Keeping it safe, and your rights
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil your order, provide after-sales support and meet our legal and accounting obligations — typically up to six years for financial records. Reviews stay published until you ask us to remove them, and other information is deleted when it is no longer needed. Your information is protected by encrypted (HTTPS) connections, secure payment processing through Stripe, and restricted, password-protected access to our order system.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing and, where applicable, to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to put things right first. We may update this policy from time to time, and the latest version is always on this page.
This policy is provided as general guidance. For full compliance with UK GDPR, we recommend it is reviewed by a qualified solicitor.
