Ways to pay

You can pay for your order in one of two ways. The first is by card online: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro are accepted, and Google Pay or Apple Pay may also appear, depending on your device and browser. When you choose card, you are taken to Stripe’s secure payment page. Your order is confirmed the moment Stripe confirms the payment — even if your internet drops or you close the browser, the order is safely recorded and you will receive your confirmation. Your card is charged once, in pounds sterling, for the total shown at checkout.

The second is cash on delivery, available anywhere we deliver in the UK. You simply pay the driver when your furniture arrives. The amount due is the total shown on your order confirmation, including delivery and any charge shown at checkout. Please have the exact amount ready where possible, as our drivers may not carry change for large notes, and a receipt is issued for every cash payment.

How your payment is protected

Our website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and card details are entered only on Stripe’s own secure pages — TM Commerce never sees or stores your card number. Stripe is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level in the payments industry, and supports 3-D Secure, so your bank may ask you to confirm the payment in its app for extra protection.

If a card payment is declined, no money leaves your account. Your bank may briefly show a pending authorisation, which disappears on its own, usually within a few working days. You can try another card or choose cash on delivery instead. Orders awaiting payment are held in our system and can be completed later — just message us with your order number and we will help.

Prices, charges and refunds

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and are the final prices you pay — there are no hidden extras added at checkout. Each colour, size or fabric may have its own price, which is shown on the product page and confirmed in your basket before you pay. Every price is re-checked by our system at checkout, so you are never charged more than the price displayed.

Where a product shows a discount badge, the reduced price is already applied. Coupon codes can be entered in the basket and are checked against our system; only one coupon may be used per order unless stated otherwise. Standard delivery (2–3 working days), urgent delivery (within 24 hours, where available) and optional assembly are charged at the rates shown at checkout, before you confirm your order.

Refunds are made to the original payment method: card payments are refunded through Stripe, and cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by bank transfer. Once a refund is approved we complete it within 2–3 working days, although your bank may take a few further days to show it. Full details are in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
